Course Overview
Developing and enhancing your skills in assessment for EAL Learners.
This course will equip you with the resources, knowledge and skills necessary to make robust, evidence based assessments of EAL learners, including children new to English. All course participants will receive a copy of the NASSEA EAL Assessment Framework book. The NASSEA book is a cross curricular resource which helps practitioners observe, document and accelerate the ways bilingual pupils start to use English as a tool for learning in school, then continue to develop their use of English through all their subject areas.
