Exploring what Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA) is and how to support children and young people who are experiencing EBSA.

What will it cover?
- What EBSA is and isn’t
- Prevalence of EBSA and the growing awareness of it within mainstream media
- How to identify children and young people who are experiencing EBSA or are at risk of doing so
- Groups who are vulnerable to developing EBSA i.e.: those with ASD and those who are transitioning between key points in their education
- Support for pupils with EBSA in terms of (1) universal approaches, (2) targeted support and (3) bespoke individual strategies

Cost
Places are funded by Liverpool City Council and available for Liverpool schools only. (2 place per Liverpool School only)
