SIL are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Running Paper, launching with a pilot across seven secondary schools in Liverpool.
Running Paper is a digital assessment platform designed to make marking smarter, feedback faster, and teacher workload lighter.
By using AI to support marking and data analysis, it gives teachers powerful tools to assess student work more efficiently, without taking away their professional judgement.
Importantly, it integrates seamlessly with existing teaching workflows, saving time without compromising quality.
Jane Holmes, Director of Education Services at SIL, said:
"This pilot is now underway, and the Liverpool schools involved have been incredibly engaged, open, and deeply committed to exploring new ways to support teacher workload and assessment practice.
SIL are excited to be taking on the role of co-ordination and most importantly carrying out the collection and analysis of the impact evidence to provide robust information for all schools to make informed decisions about the efficacy of the system as well as providing continual feedback to Running Paper.
Running Paper have been open and responsive to early feedback and have listened to schools' improvement suggestions, in order to ensure the system truly meets schools' needs.
We feel Running Paper has the potential to transform the way teachers manage assessment, but SIL also want to ensure that there is robust independent evidence to support this.
We’re excited to see how this collaboration grows and what we can learn together from this pilot. A huge thanks to the schools taking part and to Running Paper for their partnership and innovation."
Thanks to All Saints MAT Liverpool, Broughton Hall High School, Calderstones School, Cardinal Heenan Catholic High, Holly Lodge Girls' College, St Margaret's Church of England Academy, St John Bosco Arts College and The Blue Coat School for piloting with us.
