We are seeking experienced, forward‑thinking professionals to join our Board as Non‑Executive Directors (NEDs).

This is a unique opportunity to shape the strategic direction of an organisation that plays a central role in supporting schools, settings and communities across the Liverpool City Region (and beyond!)
 

 

Could you join us?

We are looking to appoint up to three NEDs with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Finance
  • Marketing, Communications, Strategy or E‑commerce
  • Professional Services

NEDs will play an essential part in the effective governance of SIL, including: 

  • Providing independent advice, scrutiny and constructive challenge
  • Ensuring compliance, transparency and sound risk management
  • Supporting strategic decision‑making and long‑term planning
  • Bringing specialist insight from your field
  • Championing SIL’s values and vision
  • Attending quarterly Board meetings and occasional additional discussions, as required.
