As part of continued efforts to tackle Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) across the Liverpool City region, a funded education training programme was rolled out in Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral.
This free 45-minute webinar covers preventing misogyny, sexual harassment & sexual abuse through primary PSHE.
It will help ensure young people in your school are educated on key issues such as consent, boundaries, healthy relationships and abuse.
Developed by Julie McCann and Sonia Cross from SIL, alongside Jess Dickinson (Lander Road Primary) and Holly Walsh (Bishop Eton Catholic Primary) the programme aimed to raise awareness of sexual harassment and misogyny and explore how education can be used as a tool to support more equitable, open and respectful relationships in the future.
Over one hundred local schools accessed the funded programme – learning how innovative and creative teaching methods can deliver safe, effective and meaningful PSHE, resulting in more successful protection for young people from misogyny, sexual harassment and abuse
If you would like to explore the issue of misogyny and sexual harassment further in your setting, or book any CPD, please get in touch.
