What should happen following my child in need or child protection referral?

- No further action is required
- The child requires immediate protection
- The child may be at risk of significant harm and a section 47 enquiry is needed
- The child should be assessed under a section 17 child in need assessment
- The child and family would benefit from an early help assessment being initiated
