Success@Arithmetic: Calculation – Strengthening understanding and fluency in the 4 operations for children in years 5–8.
It trains a lead teacher and a teaching assistant together to successfully implement an evidence-based maths intervention programme.
- The lead teacher conducts a detailed diagnostic assessment and selects a series of Success@Arithmetic: Calculation steps to create a tailored programme of up to 24 sessions, designed to support children to develop conceptual understanding of the four operations.
- The teaching assistant uses the detailed lesson plans and a range of resources to deliver the intervention to a group of up to three pupils.

Cost
The programme costs £680, which includes 3 days training for 2 delegates. There is a £10 charge for postage and packaging of a high-quality box of lesson plans, teaching guides and resources and access to the ECC protected data site.
