Overview of the programme
Educators are reporting higher numbers of children starting school with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), which means staff need training, support and examples of strong practice to offer the right support to children, young people and their families.
This training equips staff with the knowledge and confidence to support effectively.
Participants will learn how to work closely with the school SENCO, contribute to early identification of needs, and implement inclusive strategies that align with statutory guidance and the SEND Code of Practice.
This training will enable staff to demonstrate excellent practice, aligning with Ofsted’s renewed focus on SEND and inclusion, and reflecting recommendations from the national curriculum review on adaptive teaching and inclusive practice.
