Delivering Statutory Health Education as Part of PSHE

Course Overview
From September 2026, updated statutory RSHE guidance requires all schools to strengthen their approach to teaching physical and mental wellbeing as part of a high quality, progressive PSHE curriculum. This training will help you explore what effective Health Education looks like within a curriculum where pupils revisit essential themes—such as physical health, emotional regulation, personal safety and online wellbeing—building knowledge and confidence over time in line with the revised expectations. This CPD will explore the significant updates introduced in the 2026 guidance, including the strengthened emphasis on personal safety, online harms, emotional wellbeing, and accurate scientific language to support safeguarding
