Course Overview
This CPD is designed to equip primary school teachers with the knowledge, confidence, and practical strategies needed to deliver high-quality Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) in line with statutory guidance. With the updated RSHE guidance due for implementation from September 2026, the course will also address new and emerging aspects of relationships and sex and how they can be tackled in an age-appropriate way in primary school. This includes teaching to prevent online harms, child-on-child abuse and misogyny while empowering children to understand safe and healthy relationships and consent. The importance of prevention, help-seeing and knowing and responding to the needs of your own context is emphasised in the new guidance, and these themes will be explored through this CPD
