Securing Strong Foundations - an Introduction
This impactful suite of training has been carefully designed in response to the renewed Ofsted framework, focusing on the secure development of essential knowledge and skills over time. Each course supports schools to strengthen curriculum and classroom practice across the primary phase, ensuring pupils build the firm foundations they need to thrive as they progress through school.
With a clear and coherent learning journey, the programme supports flexible engagement. Courses can be accessed individually to address specific priorities (£155 per session), or taken together as a comprehensive package (£500) for schools seeking a sustained, joined-up approach that drives meaningful and lasting impact.
Securing strong foundations: transition from EYFS to KS1 - 17th September 2026
Course Overview
With a clear focus on effective transition, strong foundational skills and adaptive teaching, participants will gain the knowledge and strategies needed to ensure children develop the secure foundations required to access the Year 1 curriculum
Why Attend?
Year 1 teachers will be equipped with the knowledge, skills and strategies to support children entering Year 1 who did not reach end of YR expectations. There will be a focus on securing strong foundations to ensure children can access the Year 1 curriculum.
