Course Overview
This Computing network meeting will explore some of the key challenges currently facing Computing departments, with a particular focus on curriculum implementation, transition from KS2 to KS3, cognitive load and meeting National Curriculum expectations across KS3 and KS4. Drawing on practical examples and current classroom realities, the session will encourage discussion around how departments can build coherent, sustainable and engaging Computing provision.
The meeting will also explore staff and student wellbeing, curriculum mapping, technical and staffing challenges, and approaches to delivering meaningful Computing experiences for all students — even where curriculum time is limited.
