Personal Development Reviews

A supportive and collaborative exploration of PSHE and your wider PD offer.

• A full-day on-site visit
• Identify strengths in your current provision and identify areas where improvements can be made
• Reviews can focus on unpacking long-term and medium-term PSHE plans for progression, evidence of pupils' learning, a learning walk, discussions with the PSHE subject leader and other key staff, and discussions with a range of pupils & staff who deliver PSHE
• Includes a written report with actions and recommendations. 

Safeguarding Review

Examine how you meet the statutory duties set out in “Keeping Children Safe in Education.”

• An extensive audit of policies, procedures, and practices
• A comprehensive review of how concerns are identified, responded to, and referred
• A written report with actions and recommendations to ensure compliance with statutory guidance
• Useful as preparation for Ofsted.

Attendance Review

A supportive, improvement process.

• Review and observation of key attendance procedures
• Analysis - daily, weekly, and termly actions and data

SEND Health Check

Gain a greater understanding of the impact that outcomes of the graduated approach have in your setting.

• Highlight strengths in your current provision and identify areas where improvements can be made
• Recommends realistic, impactful changes
• Provides clear steps for ongoing improvements that support all learners
• The review includes a full-day on-site and a written report, with actions and recommendations to strengthen practice and create an inclusive environment

Curriculum Evaluation Day

A supportive and collaborative exploration of your curriculum to evaluate pedagogy and practice.

Through meetings with subject leads and other key staff, the onsite visit will:

• Identify strengths in the current provision and identify areas where improvements can be made
• Include a learning walk, lesson/intervention observation, and pupil voice
• Include a post-visit written report with actions and recommendations. 

MFL Evaluation Day

An on-site visit to support with evaluating pedagogy and practice and planning next steps.

EAL Evaluation Day

School Pool Safety Review

Designed specifically for schools with on-site swimming pools to ensure operational safety and compliance with HSE standards.

• An on-site visit with a comprehensive report and actions
• Assessment of documented procedures for day-to-day operations and emergencies, including your NOP (Normal Operating Procedures) and EAP (Emergency Action Plan)
• Verification of instructor qualifications, including lifesaving and first aid certifications
• Review of policies, including conditions of external hire  
• Confirmation that pool plant operators are appropriately trained and certified
• Checks on water quality and pool alarm systems, including testing, routines and records.

School Food Review

A focused review of your school’s food provision, ensuring alignment with School Food Standards and identifying areas for celebration and reflection.

• A pre-visit questionnaire to gather key information, for example, breakfast club provision, meal costs, and sample menus
• An on-site visit by a food and nutrition advisor during lunchtime (1.5–2 hours)
• Assessment of compliance with School Food Standards
• Review of kitchen operations, including food served, and pupil engagement
• Includes a written report that can be shared with Governors, alongside suggestions for follow-up support.
