Online Course

School Swimming Service SLA

A high-quality programme, focusing on the individual needs of each child to ensure they achieve their full potential.

  • Meets the needs of the National Curriculum for swimming 
  • Children attend weekly lessons at a location close to school
  • Receive reports on progress, attendance, and results
  • Provides opportunities for children to take part in aquatic competitions

Available with or without transport.

School Pool Safety Review

Designed specifically for schools with on-site swimming pools to ensure operational safety and compliance with HSE standards.

  • An on-site visit with a comprehensive report and actions
  • Assessment of documented procedures for day-to-day operations and emergencies, including your NOP (Normal Operating Procedures) and EAP (Emergency Action Plan)
  • Verification of instructor qualifications, including lifesaving and first aid certifications
  • Review of policies, including conditions of external hire  
  • Confirmation that pool plant operators are appropriately trained and certified
  • Checks on water quality and pool alarm systems, including testing, routines and records.
£415 +VAT per review

1:1 Lessons

Learning to swim is a crucial life skill for all ages. 

  • In-water support if school staff are not comfortable supporting a child in the water on a 1:1 basis

Sessions need to be booked at least half a term in advance.

£35 +VAT per session

Aquatics Competitions

An exciting opportunity for children. 

  • Showcase the skills that they have learned 
  • Try a new aquatic discipline

Available to all settings with or without the Swimming SLA. 

From £85 +VAT per competition with an SLA.

Emma is a qualified swimming teacher with over 10 years’ experience teaching children to swim. 

She is responsible for the day-to-day management of the school's swimming programme.
