Who are Leadership Edge?

A growing collective of educational leaders who have come together to facilitate the personal well-being and professional fulfilment of colleagues working in all roles across the sector through the power of PURE coaching.

Driven by a respect for the dedication of school-based colleagues, Leadership Edge strive to empower them to bring their best self to school for the benefit of:

What is PURE coaching?

Much of what is termed ‘coaching’ in schools is, in reality, mentoring, management or training

The Leadership Edge PURE coaching approach is markedly different as we work at the non-directive end of the coaching spectrum, without judgement. 

PURE Coaching provides colleagues with a safe space to work through PURE-ly their own agenda. Each session concludes with a forward-facing solution which has been initiated, mapped out and committed to by the individual being coached. This is usually actioned with remarkable confidence and competence, having been given the time and encouragement to work through all their thoughts and feelings about it in advance.

Sessions encourage critical thinking, innovation and self-efficacy as individuals are encouraged to develop courage in their convictions. They consider how and with whom to share their ideas to make a meaningful contribution through their own work and bring a collaborative, problem-solving mindset to their larger working environment.
