Lisa is known for her creative thinking and ability to drive positive change.

With extensive experience in early years, school leadership and school improvement, Lisa brings both practical insight and strategic vision to her work.
She is a passionate advocate for ethical leadership and research-informed practice, ensuring that innovation is always grounded in evidence and focused on impact.

Director of Excellence & Improvement
Jacquie leads a large team of Excellence & Improvement Partners who provide challenge, support and guidance to school leaders—driving improvement and promoting headteacher wellbeing.
With a strong background as a headteacher of two successful primary schools and extensive experience in LA roles including numeracy tutor, headteacher consultant and school improvement partner, Jacquie brings deep expertise and practical insight to her work.
Her passion for safeguarding and effective governance is reflected in the high-quality training she develops with her team, helping leaders reach high standards while building capacity for future leadership.
Jacquie is especially committed to supporting schools in challenging circumstances and those striving for excellence.
She believes that strong leadership, effective systems and purposeful processes are key to ensuring the best outcomes for children.

Director of Curriculum & Assessment
Sue leads a multi-phase team, shaping SIL’s offer across early years, primary, secondary and post-16.
With a strong passion for phonics and writing, Sue supports colleagues to design professional development that’s impactful, evidence-informed and aligned with EEF research.
Always up to date with national and local developments, Sue's team provide termly briefings for school leaders to support them to work efficiently - hearing key updates and taking rapid next steps to support improvement.
Her collaborative approach is key - working with headteachers, networks and MAT leaders to create flexible curriculum and assessment solutions and packages that respond to real challenges and raise outcomes for children and young people.
Currently, Sue and her team are developing a new product in partnership with EEF’s innovation stage programmes, bringing cutting-edge thinking into practice.
Her leadership ensures that SIL’s curriculum and assessment work is both rigorous and adaptable.
SEND and Inclusive Learning Manger
Yvonne is a passionate SEND advocate with a rich background as a teacher and SENCO and has spent over a decade as SIL's SEND & Inclusive Learning Team Manager.
Yvonne and the team deliver school improvement support directly to schools and deliver SIL's professional development in addition to recognised Nurture, PIVATS and HLTA training.
She has facilitated the co-production of an LA SEND Handbook and Ordinarily Available Provision, bringing services together and working closely with parent networks to ensure the voices of families and children with SEND remain central to practice.
Her mission? To help all staff become confident advocates for SEND—embedding the Code of Practice into everyday provision and improving understanding of need across 0–19 education
Early Years Education Partner
Janette is an experienced practitioner across the early years sector, having taught in both schools and as a manager of a private nursery.
She is passionate about inspiring leaders and practitioners to know the impact of their role when working with children under 5.
She trains across the country, including the NPQEYL, and has recently written an innovative course focusing on Developing Mathematical Language through Books.
Janette is key to the ongoing development and delivery of SIL’s Level 3 Early Years SENCo Award.
She has a special interest in equipping educators to better support children with SEND and their families.
